Mum and Baby YogaMum and Baby Yoga
Suitable from 6 weeks after the baby’s birth (8 weeks after a C Section) right up until your little one starts to crawl. The class is a fun way to bond with your baby and a great way to return to safe and effective exercise. The sessions are also a great way to meet other new mums who live locally.
For mum there are specially adapted sun salutation and standing postures and postnatal recovery postures which restore the uterus, abdomen and pelvic floor muscles, realign the spine and relieve shoulder, neck and back discomfort. We will also provide you with specific exercises if you have Diastasis Recti (separated abdominal muscles).
The Baby Yoga movements for the little ones are incorporated into songs and nursery rhythms and have many benefits which are detailed below.

"We love Veronique's Postnatal and Baby class. My pelvic floor and stomach muscles have tightened up so much and my whole body feels so much more open and flexible after class. Josh loves the baby yoga section. He responds so well to all the moves that we now also practise them at home." Linda and baby Joshua
"I started Veronique’s Postnatal and Baby Class when Sophie was 8 weeks old. I was really suffering with pains in my upper back and shoulders from carry and feeding Sophie all the time. The class has really helped relieve the problem and in addition my stomach has started to shrink back to its pre pregnancy size. Sophie responds so well to Veronique. She looks across at her when she is talking and giggles and smiles when we undertake the baby yoga moves. I’ve also met lots of other mums who live locally and we quite often head out for lunch together after class. Thank you so much Veronique." Martha and baby Sophie
