Motherhood is a wonderful experience. It gives women the opportunity to connect very deeply with their inner self and their child. But nurturing a child is physically and emotionally exhausting and it can sometimes feel that there is no time left to nurture oneself .

Yoga Therapy London has designed a yoga course especially for mums where you bring your little ones along to class. During class feel free to play with your little ones, breastfeed or do anything you do need to do to make sure you are both content.

The course has many wonderful benefits and can help prevent and reduce the severity of ailments that specifically affect women.

During and after birth a woman’s hormones are in a constant state of flux. This may lead to one feeling extremes of emotion and difficulty losing excess weight gained during pregnancy. The course assists in improving the function of hormone producing glands and hormonal imbalances are harmonized.

On a physical level the postures will help regain ones shape, strengthen and release tension in the pelvic floor muscles, increase energy levels and create a feeling of empowerment.

The breathing and relaxation techniques will help one cope with stress and maintain calmness and clarity in the daily challenges faced. This will help establish the unique bond between mother and child.

The course also gives mums the opportunity to meet, share and chat with other mums.
